Unauthorized systems infiltration between Jan. 21 and 22 has hampered both Sanrio Puroland, also known as Hello Kitty Land, and HarmonyLand from releasing purchased ticket codes and selling yearly passes, with the former noting in its data breach notification issues concerning the operations of its reservations service following the intrusion.
Only internal Matagorda County systems have been impacted by the incident, which was identified on the morning of Jan. 24 to have stemmed from an "unauthorized access point," said officials.
Only 7% of ransomware-hit organizations around the world were able to recover all their stolen data after paying the ransoms sought by their attackers.
"This compromise was quickly contained and our technology environment is currently considered to be free of known malicious activity as confirmed by our third-party security experts," said a Conduent spokesperson, who did not confirm whether the intrusion involved ransomware or data exfiltration.
